The Diocesan Pre-Cana Program is designed to provide an opportunity to discuss openly with each other your strengths and weaknesses and to share quality time together. A married couple lead the experience. The presenting couple will share their experiences and present the teachings of the Catholic Church on issues related to the Sacrament of Matrimony. The Weekend program is held either in a parish or at the Diocesan facilities in Brooklyn or Queens, and you can register for the Pre-Cana class that best fits your situation.

You are about to purchase your Pre-Cana class. The cost is $150 per couple.

  • You will be asked to create an account username (email address) and password. If you already have an account with the Diocese of Brooklyn. Please use those credentials.
  • Once you have completed the checkout process. You will need to log into (Click on “LOGIN” button at the upper right-hand corner)
  • Enter the username and password you used on the checkout page. Once you enter the system, click on the “Begin” button under the My Courses Box.
  • You will be asked to create your partner’s account (Step 1). You will be asked to input your meeting with priest or deacon (Step 2) & wedding information (Step 3).
  • You will be able to select you class on Pre-Cana Day (Step 4).

Catholic Couples
For Catholic couples where neither the bride and groom have been married before to another person. Also for couples married civilly who are looking to convalidate, or for couples living in a domestic union.
Interfaith Couples
For couples where either the bride or the groom is Catholic and the other spouse is not Catholic but looking to consecrate thier marriage togather before the church.
Remarriage Couples
For couples where either the bride or the groom or both have been previously married to someone else and have obtained an annulment from an Ecclesiastical Tribunal or have experienced the death of a spouse.
